Mr. Saucier's primary concentration is labor and employment law. Mr. Saucier served in the United States Air Force from June 1972 until June 1976. When he was honorably discharged at age 21, he had completed all but one semester of college while in the Air Force. In 1977, Mr. Saucier received his B.S. degree magna cum laude from the University College of the University of Maryland with a concentration in philosophy. Mr. Saucier then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law on a full academic scholarship and received his J.D. degree cum laude in 1980.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Saucier accepted a position at Venable, Baetjer and Howard where his practice was limited to labor and employment law. Mr. Saucier's legal career led to partnership at Venable, Baetjer and Howard effective January 1, 1989. He continued his legal practice at Venable, Baetjer and Howard until May 1993, when he accepted the opportunity to join Kollman & Saucier, P.A. Since that time, Mr. Saucier has continued his representation of management in all areas of labor and employment law.
Mr. Saucier has substantial experience handling administrative hearings, arbitrations, trials, and appeals. He also teaches labor and employment law, and grievance and arbitration, at the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore.
In addition, during his 27 years, 5 months, 25 days, 13 hours, 6 minutes, 6 seconds tenure in the practice of labor and employment law, Mr. Saucier has advised numerous clients concerning labor and employment matters. He is intimately familiar with all of the laws, rules, and regulations governing these issues.
Mr. Saucier is married to Carol Anne Pridgen Saucier, an artist, author, and community advocate. They have three children, Megan, Joanne, and Valerie, who keep life interesting.
